No! read this: The work of Plastic Surgery or Photoshop: Miss Korea 2013 Contestants.
They did not look the same in reality, that's because they had make-up! Don't be fooled haha not everyone did surgery in korea.

Yeah even Miss America contestants all look the same to me :/ but the question is: should the crown only go to natural beauty? actually i don't even think natural beauty should be rewarded because they can't help it just like unattractive people can't help the way they look
the crown should go to whoever amazes the audience? haha in the contests, its not just physical beauty right? they also have to have talents to win?

Physical appearance is definitely a large part of their success though. I think actually that the reason she was Miss Korea in 2012 was because she looked kind of unique even if she also had plastic surgery, so she stood out more to the judges or something. That and her being super gorgeous and well-spoken and all that

haaha @cynthia yang i found it! It is in psychologytoday too. U can google 'average face and attractiveness' and psychologytoday to read it... very interesting!! Coz i dont think we can post links on the forum like that. Might look like spam or advertising.
Anyways! ....its mostly about symmetry & familiarity. The more symmetrical and familiar a face is the more attractive we find it!
