Hello,

I am a Caucasian woman who wants to get plastic surgery in Korea. I want to go to a clinic where they have done many procedures on many types of people, not just one type, such as Asian. I will then know that they can get the job done without any mess ups (hopefully), ya know?
Do you know any good clinics to go where a lot of foreigners that are Caucasian have gone/go to (and also do a good job)?
Can you recommend some good clinics for Caucasian women? I was considering going to JWs Plastic Surgery Clinic but I don't know if they work with a lot of Caucasian foreigners.

Any suggestions?

Thanks :D

Dear @Beautyobsession , thanks for your enquiry. Many clinics which have board-certified surgeons are fully capable of performing and specializing in various surgeries. However, you may face one problem and that is -- communication.

Also, you may want to submit a get-started form with us for a more in-depth discussion -- for your individual case. Cool :

@Seoul TouchUp:

About the communication problem, will you have a translator there to help me communicate?
That comes with your packages, doesn't it?

Thanks :]

@Beautyobsession , Yes, indeed! It does depend on which package you choose. For instance, the Lite plan does not include a translator, but the Compact plan does. Cool

@Seoul Touchup:

Alright thank you :].
Then the compact plan would be best for me since I will be needing a translator.

@Beautyobsession Thank you! but we should clarify some stuff here :)

  • Lite Plan (Basic Plan) includes a medical translator and he/she will be translating for you every time you visit clinic.
  • Compact Plan (Premium Plan) on the other hand includes a medical translator (medical tourism coordinator) for surgeries AND a translator for shopping and tour.
  • Lite Plan (Basic Plan) includes only breakfast with 4 star hotel.
  • Compact Plan (Premium Plan) includes all meals with 5 star hotel.
  • Lite Plan (Basic Plan) includes all the necessary transport (airport pickup, dropoff, all clinic visits)
  • Compact Plan (Premium Plan) includes a private driver and a car ready for you during your trip.

--

What's important is both are operated by our experienced TouchUp Team and you will be in good hands.

Thank you :) and hope to see you soon in Korea.

@Seoul TouchUp:

No, thank you for clarifying! Laugh Again, my apologizes for giving out false information. That was not my intention ^^".

I saw that this was said on the lite plan " Please note that you are fully responsible for your decision to fly back before your stitches are removed." Can you clarify? Do you mean fly back to the clinic where the patient got their procedures or what do you mean?

I would like to go to Korea just for the purpose of getting surgery but I have never traveled outside of my own country so I do not know how to plan that out everything very well. I don't know which plan is best for me.

Please help. Thank you. :]

@Beautyobsession

Apologize that the information seemed misleading! The Lite Plan takes care of you from beginning to end! so that's from airport to airport. We recommend that you stay till your stitches are removed. Usually stitches are all removed within 5 -10 days.

AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE HERE ALONE! Our team will be with you from beginning to end.

If you come to clinics on your own, you may have to get better prepared though. Clinics don't provide services outside the clinics, so you are likely to be on your own when you need most help, (e.g. after surgery, you need to cab to the hotel) .

Maybe that is one of the major benefits from using an agency (governement-approved ones, of course). it's more convenient, fast and safe, of course with a bit of service charge :)

Thank you!

@Seoul TouchUp:

Since I am not going alone, I am going with your company, then I wouldn't have to worry about getting stitches removed on my own, right?

And also, will I need extra money for paying cabs or is that included in the Lite Plan when I pay for the Lite Plan?

Since the Lite Plan includes only breakfast, then I'm assuming I'll be on my own for other meals, right?
How come the Lite Plan only includes breakfast?

Thanks :].

The only reason you would need to worry about getting stitches out on your own is if they are scheduled to be removed while you are in Korea but after your package with Seoul TouchUp ends (for example, if you got an 8-day package but decided to stay in Korea longer, and your stitches were scheduled to come out after 14 days. Does this make sense?) OR, if you fly back to your home country before the stitches are out and get them removed there.

I believe in the description of the packages it says whether or not transportation is provided. If the plan says you get transportation to and from the clinic only, but you want to go other places, then yes you will need extra money for cabs.

Re: Lite Plan, breakfast, and so on - you get what you pay for :)

I am also Caucasian.  The only concern I have is my nose.  Asian noses are very different.  Mine is too big, and when I emailed a South Korean doctor for before and after pictures, my nose looked huge in the after pictures.  I want a nose that is in harmony with my face, not one that sticks out or looks weird. It scared me and I am wondering if it would be better to get everything but the nose done in South Korea.  Any advice?

I think you will probably be okay getting it done in Korea if you get a good surgeon and are VERY CLEAR about what you want. Don't do the surgery until you have "after" pictures that you like. If possible, find pictures of the kind of nose you want so they have a frame of reference?

That is also one of my biggest concerns as well

Oh wow, that kind of scares me a little. I didn't really think of this. Most of me is petite but there comes my large nose on my Caucasian features!
