I'm planning to have double eyelid surgery and perhaps v-line surgery too in Korea. But I still haven't decided on which clinics to choose.
Can you share your experience with plastic surgery clinics in Korea? doesn't matter if you had surgery there or you're just contacting them for information. I just we can share our experience here so we know better about which would be our best choice.
I haven't had surgery yet, but I'm contacting some clinics. Regen replies email really slow, I think I waited for like one or two weeks to get their reply. JK is really nice, and responded to me very fast. I feel very comfortable communicating with them. Bu I haven't read many reviews on JK clinic online. Do you much about JK?

@ll seoul I called Regen and the staff who answered it didn't sound really nice. A bit rude, I would say. I'm not happy about that. I'm actually considering Banobagi right now. My friend went there for consultation, and she said there are all Koreans there. I guess it means it has very good reputation among locals, it should be good, right? She said their staff were pretty nice.
I'm thinking of having v-line surgery too. But I got a bit confused about v-line surgery and mini v-line surgery. What's the difference?

@Mitchie Thanks for the heads-up. I've heard bad reviews on bk too. But I'm thinking, grand, wonjin and bk are all very famous and big clinics, they must have some real good surgeons. Why do they have so many bad reviews?
Can you share your experience with those clinics you contacted? Have you decided which one to choose?
@Wang Wen V-line surgery is for your whole jawline, including mandible and chin. And mini v-line surgery is only for your chin.

From my understanding, v line and mini v line is done depending on the extent of work you want done or have to be done. Also, I have heard that banobagi is good but also expensive.

I heard that Banobagi is good at face contouring surgeries. But also read some bad reviews about their eyelid surgery, and attitude. If Banobagi is really really good, then paying more money would be worth it. I'm just not sure about that when I read those mixed reviews.

I heard that a Dr.Kim from JK clinic specializing in face contouring is very good.

I have done nose implant and eyelids surgery in JK. It was a good experience to me. Now I am considering to do facial contouring ( chin+jaw reduction ) in Wonjin.
I have heard that Wonjin has quite a lot of local patients, so it's considered as a good & popular hospital in Korea. As for JK is the popular hospital for foreigners.
But I also have heard some bad news about Wonjin, like death case and unsatisfied results.
Now I am bit confusing. Does anyone know which hospital/doctor is the best for facial contouring? Please recommned for me!
I appreciate that!

There isn't any one doctor or clinic who is "the best" at facial contouring or any other surgery, it really depends on which is the best fit for you. If you had a good experience at JK it might make sense to go back there, since you know what to expect. Also, I'm not sure if you did your nose job/eyelid surgery through Seoul Touchup, but they provide recommendations for clinics based on your personal consultation with them and are more familiar with different clinics than what you can find on the internet, so it would definitely be worth taking their opinion into account.

I had my eyelids done this year and the consultant there advised which procedure would go best with my facial features.
Before I'd contacted Wonjin, Grand, Banobagi.
There were slight changes in what I wanted after a thorough consultation, but I'm generally satisfied with the outcome and feel that it was better for me to take the advice from the doctor and the consultant. I feel the bigger and more well-known the clinic is, the more hectic it is in there, so despite the best effort, the service can seem a bit rushed and too brisk when taking time to ask questions thoroughly. Luckily, the consultant seemed friendly enough on my first visit with all of them. For me, the surgery result at BK was satisfactory and the there were no complications or the need to complain with their service. I felt the time for the swelling on my eyes were taking longer than I expected but they assured me the cases varied with individuals, and the time passed at that point was not out of the ordinary so there was no need for concerns. Like they told me, the swelling subsided after about a week or two from that period and my eyes look natural.
