Traveling: Need Visa from US and what food can I pack in checked luggage? | Overall Plastic Surgery Experience in Korea | Forum

I was researching about visas and wanted to make sure that US citizens do NOT need a visa for less than 90 days stay. Also, I wanted to bring specific foods for better healing post-op, such as aloe vera, etc. What are the specific Korean custom rules and regulations about foods? I know I can't bring fresh fruits and vegetables and perishable items. What if its canned, dried, can I bring liquids like juice/drinks? How strict are Korean customs does anyone know?
