I need to get two dental implants done on my lower front teeth. I currently live in Seoul and would love any information you have.

Korean dental clinics are very high-quality and relatively cheaper than other countries. Dental Implants usually range from  USD$1500 - $4000 per tooth (depending on the type of material). It takes a long time (6 months -1 year) for your metal implant to settle in your gum, and you will be wearing temporary teeth (crown) during that period. If you are a medical tourist from overseas, we don't recommend dental implants in Korea due to long time frame.

Here is a good animation on dental implant procedures you can watch - .....JifF8pz6Dk

If you want to make an appointment with doctors (it's FREE) (face to face consultation) - please go to TouchUp Members Lounge --> and go to "book an appointment"

I would really like to make an appointment for a consultation, but can not do so unless I upload pictures. Is there not some way around this?!

We are sorry to tell you that you need to upload photos first. As you might know, doctors have to empty the schedule for your appointment. Your photos have to get delivered before you visit the clinic - this will make the appointment more efficient and time-saving for you too.

It won't take a long time to upload photos - (just a few mins) We appreciate your understanding :)

hello I have a quick question about dental implants... I have dentin dysplasia type one. its a genetic condition that causes little to no roots to grow on your permanent teeth. i know eventually all my teeth will fall out and i will need dentures or implants. i just want to know if you have stumbled upon someone who has this condition or how you would go about for treating me. i have gone to specialists and all they all have said that there's nothing that they can do. some extra info is that I'm 17 years old...

If you want to get info about cost for your Dental Implant then i can recommend a 3 or 4 tooth bridge mounted on two implants can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $15,000 (the average being $8,500). A full set of upper and lower implant supported dentures ranges from $25,000 to $95,000 (average of $34,000), depending heavily on the condition of your gums, jaw bone and existing teeth (if any). Remember that the total fee includes various aspects of the procedure. There is the cost of the procedure and implant, the cost of the abutment and the cost of the crown or dentures. There could be added charges for the scans, anesthetic and modelling as well.

The downtime that you will experience after having dental implants placed depends on several factors.  How many are you having placed? Where in the mouth are they?  Do you have good bone or will considerable bone grafting need to be done?  For those having one implant they can typically go to work the next day.  If your having 8-10 implants you will probably need to take off for a few days as you will be sore and on some pain medication.  You will be asked to eat soft foods only for a few days.  If there are multiple teeth that need to be extracted at the time of implant placement, the healing can take 1-2 weeks, before the soreness goes away.
