Hi fellow forum-goers!

I thought it might be helpful if we had somewhere to put photos of celebrities or normal people who either have the facial (or body) features we desire, or who have had surgery and got the results that we want. That way we can easily show the surgeons exactly what we want, without the difficulty communicating via a translator!

I know that Seoul Touch-Up provides trained medical translators, but even so, a picture is worth a thousand words, right? :)

I'll start putting up pictures as soon as I can figure out how... in the meantime, what do you all think? Would this be a useful thread? x

Hello!! I think that that's a wonderful idea. It'd also be interesting to see who chooses whom for their inspiration, especially since it's common to have patients bring in photos of features they'd want to have. As for me, I'm not entirely sure who would be a good inspiration, but I'll def post a photo when I find out! :p

For me, it's really hard to find pictures of what I want (at least for my face) because you might love someone else's nose or cheekbones or eyes but on you, since you don't have the exact same face, it would look different. V-line is pretty straightforward so no role models needed, but since I just want very subtle changes to my nose I'm having a lot of difficulty finding a good image. To be honest, I'm really just praying that when I eventually go I will just have a really good doctor who can help me pick what will make me look best (plastic surgeons are artists, too!). Or maybe in the meantime I will learn how to properly use PhotoShop . . .

I'm having the same issue right now. :(

I found a program on my phone that lets me adjust photos (selfies haha) - just really basic stuff, pushing things in or out etc - and while it wasn't even close to perfect, I found it really interesting to see how even minor things like having a narrower bridge on my nose made a huge difference. @Isis you're absolutely right, good surgeons are artists! I still haven't figured out how to upload photos but playing around with your own photos is fun haha :D

My friend showed me an iPhone app like that, but in a way it's kinda unrealistic because you're only able to shrink your face, enlarge features, or move different things around. D: However, the makeup aspect of it is more believable because contouring and concealing can go a long way, hehehe

I agree it would be kind of hard for matching facial features, but maybe for body surgeries? General body shape isn't as varied as facial features so it would be easier to find a (relatively) close match.

The following users say thank you to Katy Quinn for this useful post:

I agree! With the face, there are too many factors that might contribute to an overall difference appearance if say, you and another person have the same exact nose as the other features may or may not work harmoniously with that particular nose. Using a specific body shape as inspiration is very common in people who need motivation to exercise more. A lot of my friends change their cellular background photo to photos of models when they need to get into that workout grind in preparation for summer, hehe.

I love this thread!!

I know that my ideal nose would be that of Karlie Kloss or Sui He (apparently she also had hers done!) but my eye structure is a bit different from them both, since they're brow bone is set closer to their eyes. A more achievable nose for me would be Fei Fei Sun's ! Look them up guys! They're all supermodels xD

Well there is nothing wrong in this Idea.. To inspire other people by some pics of celebrities is just an cool idea... You just go on and also share some real people's pic with their reviews..

Exactly guys....u might like someone's face shape but you will not like her nose or eyes. Every face have their own pros and cons on you but it might be a perfect face for the model
