You might think that beautiful teeth means straight teeth that are beautifully arranged and white however the latest trend in Japan is 'fanged' teeth.

But the surgery is not to look like a vampire but to look like a young girl who has not yet had braces. Crooked teeth now represent youth.

It's so crazy how the beauty standards are so different between Japan and America. I don't think this will be popular in America for a long time, if ever, cause the media is so focused on straight teeth. It's definitely really cool how standards and trends are so vastly different around the world.
