Hello everyone! As mentioned, this topic is beneficial for students and people who have short holidays. ^^
I am currently still studying but wants to do plastic surgery in korea during my one-month holiday. Is it possible for in just a month's time, the surgery scars will all be gone and it will be less obvious for people to know you've went to do plastic surgery?

For myself, I want to do a complete make-over, so below are my questions.

1. Can I take a picture of my favorite celebrity and be asked to transform into them?
2. Which clinic does the most natural transformation.
3. Cost, a rough gauge if full face were to be done.

Anyone who can answer them please help. Thank you very much ladies. Stay awesome and pretty! ^^EmbarassedLaugh

Hello @Joyce Ong, in terms of the duration for scars fading, it depends on what kind of surgery procedure you are going for. For your complete makeover, what did you have in mind? Rhinoplasty? Blepharoplasty? Liposuction? You can read about the duraton, before and after care tips and other insights over at our blog. Cool

Eek! If I were you I would start doing a lot of research because your choice in clinics depends on you and your preference. I'm planning on having rhinoplasty and it took me a long time to find the ideal clinic for my needs and that's just one procedure! Anywhoooo I wish I could fly to Korea on my winter break!!!

well i strongly dont recomend you to just bring a picture and say "turn me into her" because everyones face is made differently and plastic surgery isnt ment to turn you into someone else but inhance your own features and pus, ive heard alot of bad stories of how people want to look exactally like someone else using plastic surgery and having it never turn out to their satisfaction and depending on how many surgeries and which ones you choose determines how long the recovery time is. for example a v line surgery would take maybe around 1 month or more depending on the person wereas a double eyelid surgery would take around 2 weeks

You are absolutely right Suki. There are bad stories of those who have undergone the plastic surgery procedure. But I find success stories in majority. I have done my breast implant surgery in a Plastic Surgery Clinic at Toronto. I had drooping breasts prior to this surgery. Then my friend recommended me to go for the breast implant surgery. I got my positive results as I expected. Thankfully.

Thank you Stevena for your support! :) It's so lovely to hear success stories and words of encouragement from other people on the forum, and I'm so glad that your surgery was successful. However, could you please refrain from advertising particular clinics? Especially when they're from countries other than Korea. Your clinic could be great for people living in or near the United States, but the moderators of this site aim to bring people to Korean clinics for a life-changing experience in Seoul, and so I don't think it is kind to advertise your clinic in Toronto.

Thank you for visiting the forum though! I'm sure we would love to hear about your experience and recovery process, and will do our best do provide support for you also :)

*Note: that's not to say that we shouldn't discuss specific clinics. I just mean that it's more helpful to give proper reviews of clinics rather than to blatantly advertise for said clinics :)

Going by what I've read, recovery takes up to a year but the worst of the swelling will probably be gone in a month or two. If you are getting a full-face makeover though, you (and your classmates) will probably continue to see the swelling go down. And if you drastically change your face over a holiday there is no way they will not notice . . .

That being said, facial contouring is done by going through incisions in the gums, so there should not be any visible scarring:)

As for clinics and cost, you can find rough estimates of cost by looking at Seoul TouchUp's "Surgery Overview" section (I think it said a full facial makeover is usually between $20,000-35,000 ??) but you won't know for sure which clinic is right for you and how much it will cost until you do your consultation with Seoul TouchUp or contact a clinic directly. There are some clinic reviews on the forum and when you've found a few clinics you like you can also google them. .....rocedures/ <-- this website is good too

Would you recommend getting a quote first and then saving up or saving up an estimated amount and then getting a quote?
