Oh wow really? :D. I'm so glad there is!
Do you know the name of the surgery perhaps? Then I would be able to look it up.What's grey gums?
to answer your question about what grey gums is, rad96 answered it, She stated that it "is a result of the gums dying from so many teeth being pulled and replaced at the same time"
Hope this helped!

Oh alright.
Do you know any clinics that actually do this?
And do you know any sites that show a before and after of the procedure?
It should cost about ₩1800000 - ₩3300000 to get dental implants, which may or may not be what you're looking for.
here are a few Korean clinics that specialize in dental work
You should totally send them an email so that you can get a better understanding of what you want done :)
hope this helped!

I would assume dental implants are like getting false teeth (correct me if I'm wrong) so no, that's not what I would be looking for but thanks anyways!
I will defiantly look at those links.
Emailing them sounds like a good idea! I might actually do that.
Thank you so much. :D

In any case, there is some danger to it. You may get dim gums, which is an aftereffect of the gums passing on from such a large number of teeth being pulled and supplanted in the meantime. Do some examination and check whether you truly need it or not. Consult some good dentist. :)

I'm not sure if grey gums would be worth the 8 years of braces I went through...
Out of curiosity, is there anything you can do to change the color of the dying gums? Will they begin to rot or shrink if you don't address the problem?

~Beautyobsession: I actually have a dental implant after the dentist accidentally pulled a tooth when trying to remove a temp cap (long story) and it looks completely natural in my mouth and feels no different from my other teeth!
I would say that a pro to having a mouth full of implants is a HUGE reduction in cavities, but I am assuming they only pull and replace the crooked ones? If that is the case, then shouldn't there be plenty of healthy gum around to keep a steady blood flow to the replaced ones?

.....ntics.aspx <-- a procedure that combines minor dental surgery with a short period of wearing braces (the surgery is to help the teeth move into proper position faster, thus lessening the amount of time with braces). it costs roughly the same amount as braces, around $2,000-6,000 (which I believe is for the U.S., I don't know if it's offered or how much it would cost in Korea)
if you want purely cosmetic straight teeth, you can get veneers put over any crooked teeth. the position of your teeth won't change but they will appear straight.
the actual teeth straightening surgery, from what I read, is done mainly for people whose jaw is out of alignment (severe overbite/underbite). if you just want straight teeth for the aesthetic and don't have major orthodontic problems, something like veneers would probably be safer and give you the same result.
