Hello, I have a question. In the FAQs, it is recommended to stay in Korea for 8-14 days after your procedure. I am interested in a relatively minor hair transplant surgery, approximately 1 inch x 1 inch on either side of my forehead to achieve a complete hairline. For a smaller procedure like this, do you still recommend staying 8-14 days? I would find it difficult to stay for 8-14 days due to work, etc. I can easily come for a shorter stay though. Thanks in advance.

You can resume your normal activities after about 3-7 days, but you will still have scabbing for a week or two. I hope this helps. If not, you may want to consider emailing a Korean clinic to ask them specifically what they would advise. :)

Thanks for your reply, that's useful to know.

In the FAQs they generally advice patients to stay in Korea for 8-14 days after surgery so that they can check that the surgery was successful i.e. the patient goes back to the clinic for check up visits.

I guess my main question is for a relatively small surgery like a minor hair transplant, is the patient still advised to stay in Korea for 8-14 days afterwards for check ups?

Honestly, It would probably be a good idea just to make sure there are no complications and that there are no risks. But you can always discuss this with the clinic :)

I'm very excited for you! Good luck! If you have time you should post updates of your trip and your review on the clinic and stuff like that. Good luck! :)
