Exploring seoul post surgery | Tour in Korea | Forum

Hi! anyone with previous experiences - can they describe how they filled their time whilst in seoul?
and i see many people take the opportunity whilst they are in seoul for surgery to also explore the city.
How long did people have to wait after a i.e. eye surgery before they were out and about and do things normally?
I cant wait to explore Korea

It would depend on what type of surgery you have, when you are recovered enough to explore Seoul I heard from my friend that she was taking short walks outside a few days after she did eye contouring and rhinoplasty in Gangnam. She just wore a big mask and tried to ignore anyone giving her a funny look (though I really don't think anyone in Gangnam will bat an eye over somebody with plastic surgery bandages/mask...it's so common).
If you are traveling with someone, that's best! My friend over-did it one day and pushed herself too much so that she felt dizzy. If that happens, it would certainly help to have someone with you to make sure you are alright and to help you get around if you're not feeling 100%.
Maybe if you are planning some exploring/tourist things, just take into consideration that you will probably not want to spend as much time out and about as you would normally! If you can normally shop for 2 hours without feeling tired, cut that in half when you make your plans - if you feel okay after an hour you can also extend it, but try not to push yourself or it could hinder your recovery.
