I was wondering if anyone is planning on going to Seoul in 2019. Preferable in June but July is OK too. I'm gonna do a full face surgery and would love it if I could go through my Seoul journey with someone! Preferably a female, as I am one as well. Also: I'm really young stil. I'm still a teenager but I will be an adult in 2019. I have no problem with traveling with someone a lot older than me though. I just hope you don't mind!

(By the way, I'm from The Netherlands, Europe, and can speak Dutch and English fluently and some German, French, Korean and Japanese)

Hi Joyce! Are you still planning for your plastic trip in Seoul in 2019? I have made a plan too, but I will travel in 2021 or 2022, because I still study now. I have to educate first and then save enough money for my plastic surgery. Since you still are a teenager, do you have enough cash? Hahaha. I was born in 1997, about you? Laugh I plan to have rhinoplastic surgery, cheeckbone/zygoma reduction and V-line. I want to have surgeries early too, but I don't have cash. Hehe. I am from Norway  (but with asian background), I can speak a lot of Norwegian and English, a little bit of Korean too Wink After researching a lot about plastic surgery in Seoul, I have decided for 2 hospitals. What about you? Do you have some special hospital in your mind?

Hey!

I'm still planning. I'll always be planning for the next couple of years for my plastic surgery journey unfortunately. I don't have enough right now (I'm only 16!). Someone who's an expert of plastic surgery in Seoul told me this:

"Budget wise you should be prepared for the following (USD):

Accommodations (recommended $45/night at least) or rent airbnb monthly rate ($500 to $700).
Flight ticket ($800 to $1200)
Food $15/day
Transit $8/day
Misc $10/day

Treatments:

Nose: $3500 to $6500
Eyes: $1500 to $3500
Facial Contouring:

Jaw line ($6,000 to $10,000)
Cheek ($4,000 to $7,000)
Chin ($3,000 to 5,000)
Jaw line + cheek + chin ($7,500 to $22,000)*

Facial contouring Jaw line (V-line or Square Jaw Reduction) + Chin ($7,000 to $14,000)
Fat Graft $1,500 to $3200

If you stack all the procedures together: $15,000 to $32,000 USD."

I asked some other people as well and they said all my surgeries together would cost about 17 000 euros on average. I'm currently a waitress and my pay definitely isn't bad. (since my classmates only earn 50 euros a month) I get quite a lot of money from my parents, so that helps. It's not like they just give me 500 euros for Christmas or anything like that though! But they do give way more than my friends' parents do. I also like to beg my parents for money or convince them with my business skills. I once got a Samsung Galaxy S6 for free and it was 560 euros. I just used my charms on my mom. I feel bad but it's for a greater good lol.

So in the end, it's like this: 60% will be my money earned through my job and 40% will be my money earned through my parents.

Also, it's awesome to see another person from Europe! And from the northern part as well. I've been to Norway before. It's really pretty. But also really expensive!

I haven't firmly decided on a clinic yet, as a lot of things can happen over the years. A clinic that has a good reputation now could have a terrible reputation in a couple of years from now. But right now I'm thinking of DA for v-line and perhaps fat grafting and MVP or Top Class for my eyes and nose. DA is famous for their facial contouring, and I like their results. They're quite drastic, and that's what I want. I want a big chance. But I heard they're bad at rhino, so I can't get rhino there. So I'm considering MVP or Top Class for rhino + eyes (but I guess I can do my eyes at DA as well, because Dr. Lee, the facial contouring surgeon, is also specialised in eyes. And he's really good apparantly). MVP is popular for eyes and rhino, and Top Class mainly for rhino.

I really want to do everything in june/july 2019 because I'll go to university for the first time in september 2019. People in Europe don't really get plastic surgery (maybe botox or rhinoplasty if their nose is really bad), so I feel like they'll think I'm kind of weird/vain if I suddenly come back after holidays and show up with a new face. So I want to do it before I've met my classmates. But I don't know if I can do it all at once, as I might not have enough money by 2019. If not, I'll do the most important surgeries in 2019 and the rest later. I'll contact you if I end up going in 2021/2022. Laugh

Also, are your parents OK with you getting plastic surgery? I haven't told my parents yet, but I already know they'll be mad and upset. They'll think there's something wrong with me. I've brought up the topic of plastic surgery before and they're amazed at how much people can transform with Korean plastic surgery, but they also constantly frown.Frown

What clinics have you decided on? Laugh
