Having a Mini Facelift in Korea

Written by Chelsea Kim. Posted in Facial Plastic Surgery

mini facelift in koreaA mini facelift in Korea is one of the newest ways to give your face fresh look without having to undergo a complex procedure. Unlikely the traditional full face lift, the mini version only corrects some of the minor changes that the patient wishes to make. The mini facelift in Korea is generally done for people who only experience sagging in the middle regions of their face and do not require a complete lift.

How does a mini facelift help?

Some of the most noticeable benefits of a mini facelift are a younger appearance, emotion stability and better looking skin. Emotion stability is particularly a good advantage because as we age our skin begins to sag, making the facial muscles somewhat harder to see. Tired of the countless and weightless claims by anti-aging products, many people choose to refresh their face with a face lift. This is done under different levels of anaesthesia, depending on how complex they are. Because the mini face lift is a small procedure, it is done under local anaesthesia, which is good because it means that the patient will recovery quicker.

How to prepare for the surgery

There are a few things that the patient can do in order to make the mini facelift surgery more successful and easier to heal. You should start by letting your doctor know if you suffer from any allergies or skin conditions so that there will be no surprises for the doctor once the surgery starts. Some allergies also prohibit the use of certain medicine, so your surgeon needs to know what can and cannot be used. Patients are also required to stop taking Aspirin two days before the surgery in order for the blood to coagulate at the right level, and also to stop smoking two days before the surgery if they are smokers. All of this is to help the blood form at the right consistency so that the wounds can heal easily and without complications. You should not consume any meals approximately twelve hours prior to the surgery, and you should not be wearing any makeup during the surgery either. If all of these suggestions are followed correctly, the mini facelift in Korea will be successful and it will give the patient the best results possible. The full recovery can take up to seven days to complete, after which the patient is free to continue with their normal daily routine. However, because the surgery involves facial tissue, there will be a number of facial exercises that the doctor will ask you to do. These exercises will help keep the skin elastic, increase blood flow, and reduce any swelling that may appear. Korean Plastic Surgery has procedures that have been developed to suit almost any patient. While there is no surgery in the world that can stop the aging process entirely, there are plenty of other options for those who wish to make themselves look younger and more vital.
