New South Korea Plastic Surgery Procedure to Achieve Rounder-looking Head
Yes! This is a real thing that’s going on right now; it’s said to be an ideal procedure for those ridiculed with having the appearance of “flat and sunken heads”. The pictures above will give you a rough idea here.
“Round head” plastic surgery uses bone cement which is actually used as a kind of “glue” between the artificial joint and real bone in knee replacement surgery. Said to only add about 20 to 80 grams of weight to the patient’s head, if all goes well and it adheres to the skull, it may give the appearance of a rounder-looking head.
We wouldn’t classify “Round Head” plastic surgery under “common types of plastic surgery” such as double eyelid surgery or Korean rhinoplasty. It does, however, add on to the pile; some South Korea plastic surgery procedures have been known for its eccentricity and while it might be well-received in Korea, it might not be in other parts of the world.
Back in September, there was the permanent smile surgery trend which was rather heavily ridiculed. Now, we can only wait and see how this trend plays out. Will it be well-received, heavily criticized or forgotten?
What do you think of this “round head” surgery? Do you like it? Would you or anyone you know ever get it? Is it a bit too excessive even for Korea? Feel free to leave a comment below, we’d love to hear your thoughts.
