Seoul TouchUp Now On Bloomberg

South Korea is one of Asia's hot spots for beauty and medical travel purposes. According to the International Society of Aesthetic Surgery, a total of 649,938 procedures was performed in 2011, and that is 13 procedures for every 1,000 people. Year by year, it is becoming a known fact that the Gangnam-style nip and tuck draws tourists to Seoul's beauty belt.

As quoted from a recent article on Bloomberg,

"Plastic surgery trips cost a minimum 15 million won ($14,000), according to Lee Joon, marketing director at Seoul TouchUp, a travel agency that books hospitals, accommodation and sightseeing trips in all-inclusive packages."

 and as quoted from a tourist, again from the recent Bloomberg article:

"The travel and surgeries altogether cost about the same as Australia and more than Thailand, which he considered before settling on South Korea on the advice of a friend, he said, without giving details."

Seoul TouchUp at the Imperial Hotel in Thailand

Seoul TouchUp was chosen by the Korea Gyeonggi Province Tourism Association to present a seminar at the Imperial Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. On 27^th June 2013, fifty major travel agencies in Thailand were present at the seminar where Seoul TouchUp represented Korean Medical Tourism.

With the rise of the Korean Wave in the mid-2000s, medical tourism has reached an all-time high in 2011 with an income of $116 million. Seoul TouchUp has a reputation for providing plastic surgery enthusiasts around the world with access to experienced and board-certified plastic surgeons. Seoul TouchUp and SM*SH at Karnival Wisata 2012 in Indonesia

Present at the 2012 Karnival Wisata was the Indonesian boyband, SM*SH and the photograph above is of Seoul TouchUp at the Karnival Wisata 2012 in Indonesia – having been fortunate enough to have met with SM*SH. Also known as “Seven Men as Seven Heroes” and having won eight awards, two of which were from the 2011 Indonesia Kids Choice Awards, SM*SH brings about a positive spirit through their dance-oriented music - inspiring youth in their culture as well as around the world.

This was in Jakarta, back in October 2012 when Seoul TouchUp was chosen by the Korean Tourism Organization to represent Medical Tourism in Korea at the Karnival Wisata.
